About This Project

This project consisted of a fit-out of (2) buildings, several floors and an interior atrium lobby at Network Drive in Burlington, MA for AVID Technologies who was relocating from Tewksbury, MA. The atrium was designed by Gensler to reflect the cutting edge design and technology representative of the new tenant. Work featured structural 3/4″ thick tempered all-glass “vitrines” fit around existing steel columns that incorporated projective and holographic display glazing from HoloPro and Stewart Film. The atrium also included several one-off custom glass and stainless steel display cases which used one-way mirror glazing and internal light to house and reflect AVID’s numerous achievement awards. The work outside of the atrium included aluminum framed office front partitions, frameless glass conference room partitions and a set of custom one-off oversize center-pivoted stainless steel clad doors which served as both a sound barrier when closed and an operable partition when required for through access.
