Sitting at the gateway to the Wells Avenue business loop in Newton, MA, Two Wells Avenue is a prominent addition boasting loads of modern glass facades mixed with composite metal and wood grain phenolic resin panels throughout. The use of curtain wall framing systems at all openings allowed for the continual integration of the AVB membrane within the glazing pockets. In addition to the narrow 2″ sight line captured strip curtain walls, the forward elevations made use of 4-sided SSG glazing set with 3M’s VHB tape applied cassettes. It’s just about as clean of a look as you can get with a curtain wall!
